Curious & Kind mural, August 29 - September 1, 2019
This 9' x 16’ mural features Nellie Thurston Squire, a woman from Troy, NY who was the first to ascend in a hot air balloon from Almonte, Ontario, August 29, 1879-- 140 years prior to the day I started painting it. The mural's home is at Curious & Kind, a wonderful new venue, shop and maker space in Almonte, Ontario, Canada.
